The Dolomites, also known as the “Pale Mountains”, take their name from the carbonate rock dolomite, are a mountain range located in northeastern Italy.
The Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park and many other regional parks are located in the Dolomites. In August 2009, the Dolomites were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Dolomites are renowned for skiing in the winter months and mountain climbing, hiking, cycling, and BASE jumping, as well as paragliding and hang gliding in summer and late spring/early autumn.
The route consists of 775 km. that can be done in two days. Spending the night more or less in the middle of the route, we have chosen the Hotel Spera, in Trentino, where the attention and the food are very good, it also has an excellent view.
There are gas stations, bars and restaurants along the entire route, so you can ride without worries.
